You cant, ive tried with my husband. They have to decide that for themselves, and everyone has told me that. Its true.
Recently he came to me and said he was ready, so were both trying to quit now. Its been 4 days and weve had one here and there. Which is fine, cuz we were so bad before, like 2 pks a day each. We are determined to beat this habit.
Just leave him alone, you might want to say something here and there, but dont nag him, itll only cause a fight. Believe me I know, I tried telling my man several times, and we only had a really bad fight come out of it. He has to figure it out on his own. It has to be HIM that decides.

It makes us think twice before walking through a darkened parking lot or a lonely street late at night. It makes us think twice when the courier boy, the salesman, the Pizza delivery guy, the postman or even when the seemingly qualified man rings the doorbell. (YES- its a tactic)

Mumbai is the city that never sleeps but I still get the jitters when I hop into an empty bus even in broad daylight. I am referring to RAPE and GANGRAPE. It's every woman's worst nightmare.

Fashion designer Anand Jon was convicted of rape recently.

Goa Education Minister- Atanasio Monserratte's son Rohit raped a German minor girl.

Yet another German tourist was raped by an auto-rikshaw driver and his accomplice on the outskirts of Jodhpur city in Rajasthan.

A South African model was drugged, abducted and gangraped in Mumbai.

And how can I not mention the Sahar rape case and the Marine Drive rape case that sent shock waves across Mumbai. Constable Chandrakant Pawar raped a 15-year-old ragpicker near Leela hotel at Sahar, Andheri east, Mumbai. And Constable Sunil Atmaram More raped a young teenaged girl in his Police Chowky at Marine Drive, Mumbai.

Not to mention, the high profile Abhishek Kasliwal rape case. Son of Shree Ram Mills scion Ambuj Kasliwal, Abhishek raped a middle aged woman in his car.

Under section 375 of The Indian Penal Code, a man is said to commit 'rape' when he has unlawful intercourse with a woman without her valid consent.

The National Crime Records Bureau states that there has been a phenomenal eight-fold increase in the number of rapes committed in India since 1971. A lot of rape cases go unreported because of the social stigma of reporting such a crime. According to stats, a woman is raped every 29th minute in India and every 2 minutes in the United States.

It only triggers the following questions in my mind:

- How safe are women?
- How can we ever trust the police if there are more of police rapists lurking around?
- Are foreign women tourists safe in India?

Delhi has been touted as the most unsafe city in India. Mumbai is safe, but only the 'insiders' know how safe. Rapists will rape anyone, anywhere, any how whenever they want to rape.

Moreover, rapists can be ANYONE! And I mean it when I say ANYONE!

Women! Please take time and educate yourselves on ROHYPNOL, GHB and other DATE RAPE DRUGS.

NEVERRRRRR LEAVE YOUR DRINK UNATTENDED. DON'T EVER ACCEPT DRINKS FROM STRANGERS. If someone offers to get you a drink at a bar or a party, go with the person to order your drink. Dont let your guard down.

You don't just rape a woman's body, you rape her soul in the process!

Stop violence against women. Incidentally, November 25th is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
